Mikael was educated at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm, and has now been teaching music and rhythm at The Swedish College of Dance and The Ballet Academy of Stockholm for 20 years. Throughout his many years as a teacher, he has developed his own pedagogy specialized for dancers.

Mikael is joining the STF faculty to teach a themed class with focus on rhythm theory.
